The Burton [ak] Cyclic GORE-TEX 2L Bib Pants are shell snowboard pants built for riders who log serious days in all conditions. They combine a relaxed fit with fully storm-ready GORE-TEX protection and smart [ak] details for resort laps, storm riding, and sidecountry missions.
Outer construction
These bib pants use a GORE-TEX 2-layer recycled nylon 70D plain weave fabric in the True Black colorway for a durable, abrasion-resistant outer. Articulated patterning through the legs and knees keeps movement natural on the skin track, in the trees, and in the park. Triple-needle reinforced stitching adds strength in high-stress seams, while kick panels and an anti-scuff cuff protect the lower legs from edges and boots. Exterior utility loops give you extra attachment points for on-hill essentials.
Weather protection
The GORE-TEX 2L membrane is windproof and waterproof with fully taped seams and YKK zippers to block out snow, slush, and wind. Water-resistant boot gaiters seal over your boots to help keep snow out on deep days. The shell build pairs well with different base and mid layers so you can tune warmth to the day’s forecast.
Fit and features
A relaxed fit gives room for layering without feeling bulky. Crossflow Venting combines exterior thigh vents with mesh-lined, no-snag continuous inner thigh vents to dump heat quickly on hikes and warmer days, offering the most venting options in the [ak] bib lineup. Zippered handwarmer and thigh pockets organize your small gear, while chest pockets include a mesh phone sleeve and a stretch-woven device pocket. A beacon-friendly power mesh pocket with loop sits inside the thigh pocket, and an ATM pocket lives inside a handwarmer pocket for quick card access. A zippered drop-seat construction makes quick breaks easy without stripping off your layers.
