The BURTON K ONE PIECE suit paint stripe is a kids' insulated snowboard one-piece designed for long days on the hill, from chairlift laps to backyard snow forts. This snowsuit combines a 15,000 mm waterproof rating, 15,000 g breathability, and allover coverage to keep young riders warm, dry, and comfortable through changing winter conditions.
Outer construction
The shell uses DRYRIDE 2-layer 100% recycled polyester plain weave printed fabric in the Paint Stripe colorway, mapped with 400D nylon reinforcement panels at the knees, seat, and elbows for added durability where kids need it most. Articulated patterning supports natural movement on the board, while a regular fit avoids feeling too tight or too baggy. An external waistband adjustment lets you fine-tune the fit over base layers.
Weather protection
A 15,000 mm waterproof rating and 15,000 g breathability work with the DRYRIDE 2-layer construction to protect against snow and slush while allowing excess heat to escape. Fully taped seams and a PFC-free water-repellent finish help block moisture at critical points. YKK zippers and water-resistant boot gaiters further seal out snow around openings.
Insulation
100 g ThermacoreECO synthetic insulation provides dependable warmth without excessive bulk, so kids can move freely. This insulation uses 95% recycled polyester content, balancing comfort with a lower environmental impact. A taffeta lining mapped with microfleece front and back panels adds extra coziness where it counts.
Fit and snow features
The Room-To-Grow system allows the sleeves and inseam to extend by up to 2 inches to keep up with growth spurts. A helmet-compatible Fulltime Contour hood with elastic gaiter and crown adjustment helps seal in warmth around the head. Internal removable suspender straps let kids drop the top when they head indoors, and zippered side body vents offer quick cooling. Snow-focused details include water-resistant boot gaiters, anti-scuff cuffs with hook-and-loop cuff elevators, adjustable cuffs, and multiple secure pockets including a zippered sleeve pass pocket, thigh pockets, a chest pocket with media port, and an interior mesh dump pocket. A chafe-free chin guard and hook-and-loop glove attachment add extra comfort and practicality for all-day riding.
