The ON Cloudsurfer Trail 2 WP portobello/pebble is a waterproof trail running and hiking shoe designed for short outings on moderate, non-technical terrain. Max cushioning with CloudTec Phase™ and Helion™ foam delivers a smooth, soft ride from road to trail.
Upper construction
The waterproof upper uses a three-layer membrane to keep out rain and splashes while still allowing moisture to escape. A breathable, abrasion-resistant shell handles brush and debris on light trails. The design focuses on a more inclusive fit, with an improved heel shape and padded lining to enhance comfort and hold on uneven ground.
Midsole & cushioning
The precision-engineered CloudTec Phase™ midsole, developed using Finite Element Analysis, sequences the collapse of the “clouds” for a fluid transition. Helion™ foam is tuned for softness, combining max cushioning with a responsive feel suitable for mixed road-to-trail use.
Outsole
A Missiongrip™ rubber outsole provides traction and durability for moderate terrain. Larger chevron-shaped lugs increase surface contact and help secure footing when climbing, descending, or crossing wet patches.
