Rode FiberTex

An essential item for every skier's wax box is Fibertex. The grey Fibertex is coarser and specifically designed to remove polyethylene micro-hairs after grinding or when working on new skis. It also helps to smooth out the incisions made by diamond stones, enhancing the effectiveness of the grinding process. Additionally, it can help refresh bases that do not properly absorb glide waxes. The white, extra-fine Fibertex is less abrasive and can be used to remove polyethylene micro-hairs and polish the base as part of standard ski maintenance. To use the Fibertex, grip it as flat as possible and apply heavier pressure, passing it at least a dozen times from tip to tail on the ski or board's glide zone. Save your old pieces of either the white or grey Fibertex, as they're effective for removing old kick wax, base binders, and klister when used with a wax remover or cleaner.
