Rode Sidewall Cutter

The sidewall cutter, (or Phenol Remover as Rode calls it), is used when you notice small pieces of plastic coming off the ski when you are filing. Use a sidewall cutter for trimming off the plastic closest to edge to keep your files from running along the plastic. This tool's blade is adjustable both vertically and horizontally for the best trim.
