Swix HS5 Turquoise Melt Glider (-10C/-18C)

High Speed 5 is the coldest, hardest wax in the HS line. It's at It's best in cold conditions. This is in part due to It's great durability and dry friction properties. HS5 is applied with a waxing iron on either snowboard, alpine skis or cross-country skis. This is a high quality fluor-free option. Despite being a wax for cold conditions, the melting point of 160C makes it easier to apply than many competitors in this area, without sacrificing the great gliding properties. HS5 can be used for fresh, old or artificial snow conditions. HS5 can be used as a stand alone race wax, or as a base for liquids or wool-applied top coats.
