The Marathon Powder Black was developed especially for wet and dirty snow. The black, lubricant additive helps reduce friction against dirty snow. Great in warmer conditions, but can be used in in colder weather as well, offering good glide. Can be applied using a waxing iron. Marathon waxes can be used as a stand alone race wax or as a base for liquids or wool-applied top coats.
